Hi bookish peeps! This is my 10th time attending a book signing here in our country. I started last 2011, though I wasn’t able to attend everything, it’s fine. And I have noticed the vast improvement by the way these events are handled.
It’s only been half of the year and 5 NYT best selling authors have visited the Philippines. Book signing is really the most favorite thing in the world of bookworms ( next to reading books of course), because we get to meet and greet the amazing authors behind our favorite novels! PLUS WE GET OUR BOOKS SIGNED! ❤
July, 3, 2016, #AmyandAndreainPH started! The best selling author of Falling into Place and This is Where the World Ends, Amy Zhang, and Andrea Portes, author of two YA novels, Anatomy of a Misfit and Fall of Butterflies, and other NA novels, finally had their book signing in Manila. This is again made possible by our dearest National Bookstore in partnership with Raffles Makati and Shangri-la Plaza. THANK YOU!
Now let’s start the event recap! This recap will also include the interview portion and fan Q.A. with Amy and Andrea! Stay tuned. 😀
Hi bookish peeps! It’s a special time of the month again where a certain author visits the Philippines to conduct a book signing event! And this time, it was Jennifer Niven! The lovely author of “All The Bright Places”– the winner of the 2015 Goodreads Choice Awards for Best Young Adult Fiction. The event is made possible again by none other than, National Bookstore.
I will also cover here some of the interview portion of Jennifer Niven and question and answer portion from the fans. So stay tuned 🙂
Seems like yesterday when I first read her book and fell in love with her style of writing. Throne of Glass series is a phenomenal bad ass book and A Court of Thorns and Roses is a book with an enchanting story and a deep allegiance to true love. Sarah J. Maas has magic in her that made her one of my all time favorite authors. And up to now, I’m so happy for the opportunity to finally meet her and thank her for making an epic fantasy story that helped me see the world not what as it is, but what lies underneath it.
It took me a week to post this recap since I was busy with school works 😀 But now here’s my recap of the amazing book signing of the #1 New York Times best selling author, Sarah J. Maas here in the Philippines organized by none other than, National Bookstore 🙂 They did a stellar job in organizing this event and it was different from the previous book signings organized by them which I have attended to.
Book signings are one of the most wonderful experiences to have. It is a time in which you meet the author who wrote your favorite book and you get the chance to meet him/her and have a small chat while signing your book.
The #1 New York Times bestselling author of Red Queen series, Victoria Aveyard had her book signing in Manila, Philippines last March 6, 2016. It was held on National Bookstore in Glorietta 1, Makati City. It was her second day in the Philippines as she had her book signing on The Gallery, Ayala Center, Cebu a day before. This isn’t my first time to attend a book signing. But this experience was memorable because it was really swift and bittersweet. Though I was happy to meet her, I’ve had issues with the way things went during the event. But I’m not going to complain. I am thankful for this opportunity to meet her courtesy of National Bookstore and Epic Reads.Read More »
